by | Mar 28, 2023 | Cricket, Indian T20 League, Preview

The 16th edition of the Indian T20 League is set for a March 31 start with defending champions Gujarat  taking on 4-time winners Chennai  at home – the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. For the first time since COVID, the league returns to its traditional home-and-away format with the final back in Ahmedabad on May 28.

The latest edition of the richest T20 league in the world sees 10 teams battle in a 2-month long, 74-match marathon season across 12 cities. In addition to the 10 regular venues, the 2 additional venues are Guwahati (Rajasthan’s second home), and Dharamsala (Punjab’s second home). The last time all teams played across all the traditional venues in India was way back in 2019.
